Father’s day celebrated with much exuberance and fanfare, at Heavenly Palace, dream and beauty charitable trust, doraha was as unique as the trust mission itself. the function started with slide show of each male resident of heavenly palace in the presence of Mrs. Neeru Sittal (Trustee), Mr. Anil Singhania (Trustee), Dr. Sardara Singh Johl (Advisor), prof. V. K. Mehta (Advisor) & Col. Sanjay Bhatia (GM). The senior residents were completely absorbed in the spirit of Father’s Day and were happy with the special attention being given to them. fun filled activities like musical chair game and dance were organized in which everyone participated enthusiastically.
Mr. R. K. Jain, resident of heavenly palace, remarked that father’s day is an occasion for children, when they can express their gratitude to their father for his love, affection and protection. Mr. Girish Wadhwa, Prof. S.L. Singla, Mr. K.K. Chopra, Mr. Manjitpal Singh & Mr. S.P. Dogra also shared similar views on father’s day.
The function ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. V. K. Mehta (Advisor). He remarked that just as earth signifies mother, water signifies father, an important figure in one’s life, is like an umbrella, protecting us from sun, rain and all trouble.
Cultural program was held for the residents of heavenly palace. father’s day was followed by fun filled games & musical activities in which all the residents participated enthusiastically. father’s day cake cutting ceremony followed in the end of the function.
