Kanjak Pujan of 600 underprivileged girls by Dream & Beauty Charitable Trust, Doraha.
Kanjak Puja was celebrated by Dream & Beauty Charitable Trust at Brahmbhog Ludhiana. Over 600 underprivileged girls from poor families and slums were treated with dignity and love. Their feet were washed with water, kumkum was applied on their forehead, mauli tied on their wrist and flower petals were showered on them. They were worshipped with full devotion. As per instructions of Mr. Anil K Monga, trustees & general manager performed all the rituals with full humanity to spread the message, to respect women and treat them equally as all girls are form of Maa Durga and this celebration of Durga Ashtami is to respect girls and empower them in the society. All girls and their parents were extremely happy & full of enthusiasm.
Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust (DBCT) conceived in the year 1996 celebrated 21 years of its purposeful and existence. Trust has developed a strong track record of accomplishment. General Manager of the trust said, “Our commitment to humanity, service, partnership and cooperation. Serving down trodden & poor by providing food to alleviate hunger through Brahmbhog, providing education, skill sets & jobs, women empowerment by providing jobs after proper training through Margdarshan, serving the old age citizens through Heavenly Palace, medical care to underprivileged by providing free medical facilities through Slum Area Medical care and upbringing of homeless children through Heavenly Angels.The Senior Citizens of Heavenly Palace were also participated in this function

Sanjay Bhatia (Retd.) and senior citizens of Heavenly Palace distributed thalli’s with Halwa, Poori and fruits to more than 600 girls.
